HelpOne takes cards through your organization's own NMI account. Card payments live in Settings > Payments, not Connections.
Get your keys
Sign in to your NMI merchant portal and open Settings > Security Keys.
Connect
- In HelpOne, go to Settings > Payments.
- Paste your Security key (private) and your Tokenization key (public).
- Click Save.
- Click Test connection.
Until it's connected, card payments won't run. To keep a saved key, leave its box blank.
Good to know
- Card fees are between you and NMI. They're not part of your HelpOne subscription.
- Card numbers stay at NMI. Never type a card number into a gift, a note, or an email.
